Cake Fairies commission

Janet Walton has been running the Cake Fairies for the last few years and has recently taken on Kiran Mooney to aid expansion. The pair approached PR Costa Blanca to create a logo that was instantly recognisable and professional but also to feature their move towards a focus on wedding and occasions cakes. They also asked for a clean and professional site that would rank well on search engines whilst highlighting the wide range of cakes they made.

After meeting with the pair, a bespoke email was created for them to use throughout the process that would allow both parties to monitor the audit trail. A large number of logos were created which followed the initial brief and following another meeting, was a final was amended and approved. The pair wanted an additional flare so the logo on the finished website is a animated GIF to highlight the ‘fairy’ aspect.

The Cake Fairies team asked for the website to have a specific ‘open book’ feature to highlight their designs but also to have a page on each type and style of cake which was built into the final design. To populate the site, PR Costa Blanca created the first version of the content which was then amended by the clients before being used. We also completed our standard SEO set up on all the pages.

The clients were provided with a fun and modern logo that accurately highlights their core product of wedding and occasion cakes in Spain. The site itself was quickly launched and is receiving enquiries regularly plus the SEO on the site is boosting the ranking on search engines. To further boost sales, PR Costa Blanca updated the Facebook page for the Cake Fairies as well as adding in details which meant they could receive reviews from happy clients and has already boosted their reach in the Costa Blanca area.
