Cafe Cortados Commission
Debbie Clark from the popular Cafe Cortado’s in Javea Port contacted PR Costa Blanca after seeing recommendations for social media management. Debbie wanted the cafe to reach new clients via her existing Facebook page but to reach a whole new audience, we suggested a website which would highlight the regular events, the food and drinks and the community feel of the bar. Debbie also was keen to highlight the charitable donations the bar makes through the events and her generous customers as well as a new service she was soon to launch of Free Saturday Rental to selected businesses and charities.
Initially the team at PR Costa Blanca started on the Facebook page which would highlight the many different services and products the cafe offered as well as increase the reach of the posts. We created a schedule that was approved by Debbie and would alternate the style of posts on a daily basis as well as create original content. Debbie provided photos of the cafe, events and food which was used in the overhaul of the Facebook page, but the PR Costa Blanca team visited the Cafe several times to take our own high quality photos. The website needed to follow the colour scheme and overall feel of the popular cafe and menus, events and ‘trusted trader’ pages were added to boost the community usefulness of the site. The popular Spanish term of ‘Cafe Cortados’ was available which will also boost the click through to the website. PR Costa Blanca also carried out our standard SEO work to help boost the page on social media and also created key word heavy content free of charge for the site to engage readers.
The Facebook page was launched immediately and gave the cafe a big boost following the online presence with many more engagements and reviews. The page is regularly updated and the engagement is consistently high. The website was approved by Debbie and successfully advertises the wide range of products and services offered by Cafe Cortado’s.
